## Key Ingredients

### **Azelaic Acid**

Reduces inflammation and fights the bacteria that result in blemishes. It has also
been proven to reduce post-acne hyperpigmentation. It has an anti-androgenic effect
that balances hormones.

### **DermShield™**

This proprietary formula enables potent active ingredients, such as alpha hydroxy
acids (AHA’s), beta hydroxy acids (BHA’s), and azelaic acid to be used without the
usual adverse side effects.

### **Azeloglicina**

This derivative of azelaic acid is water-soluble and has a lower pH than azelaic
acid.

### **Benzoyl Peroxide**

Benzoyl Peroxide reduces the number of acne-causing bacteria on the skin, decreases
inflammation and unclogs pores. It can be especially helpful in preventing the formation
of acne scars.

### **Sodium PCA**

A Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF) component that acts as a humectant.

### **Boswellia Serrata Extract**

A plant extract that reduces inflammation and provides antimicrobial and wound
healing properties.

### **Oryza Sativa Extract**

Fights free radicals and reduces oxidative stress.

## Usage

### **RECOMMENDED FOR**

Rosacea and inflamed skin with active acne lesions.

stated below. Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product.
 * Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily.
 * Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily,
then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed
   by a doctor.
 * If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or
   every other day.
 * If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or
sensitivity develops, stop use of both products and ask a doctor
